World Cup 2026 - FRA v SWE/ MEX v ECU
While the underdog supporter in me was rooting for Sweden to miraculously oust France, the latter’s quality was just too high. What goals: 3-0!
And then soon after was Mexico v Ecuador, which Mexico won in style, 2-0, breaking through a knockout stage after 40 years!
Looking forward to seeing what ENG v DRC, BEL v SEN, and USA v BOS. My sympathies lie with DRC, SEN, and especially BOS…but we’ll see. Exciting times indeed.
