Walking in a nature often feels restorative to me. (That is, as long as I am fully kitted out with long-sleeved shirt, pants, and insect repellent to protect me from the mosquitoes! Otherwise...💀)
When things get overwhelming, I find it easy to find a space of calm and clarity in a reserve, or a park, or even by the sea. Catching up with some familiar and not-so-familiar feathered friends is also a bonus that brings me joy.
Studies show that even viewing pictures of naturecan confer many benefits. But why settle, when all it takes is to find a nearby park or spot of green?
