Singapore's first win over Thailand since 2012!
Singapore won the second-leg of the Asean Championship semi-finals against Thailand: 2-1! To think that Thailand had not conceded to any team in the tournament until it met Singapore. 3 goals conceded by the War Elephants β 94th in FIFA rankings β to the Lions, 54 places down at 148.
That surely is something. The naysayers who were out in full force when Singapore lost 3-1 to Thailand have gone missing, for which I'm glad. Our team did our country proud. Well done Lions! Now onto the FIFA ASEAN Cup and next year's Asian Cup!
