Reporting on experiment: AI Python for Beginners
Today is the last official day (Day 7) for my experiment sharing my experience with DeepLearning.AI’s AI Python for Beginnerscourse.
Here are some things I’ve learnt:
- The short duration allowed me to dip my toes in coding and see how I feel about it, before committing for longer.
- It’s true that AI can make coding easier, but you have to consciously use it to empower you rather than replace you.
- The logic of Python is relatively straightforward, and I can see why it’s recommended for beginners.
- During practice, it is valuable to go beyond the syllabus — this is how you consolidate your learning and stretch your coding.
- The most interesting things happen when you go with a child’s “What if I do this…?” mindset. (I guess this is applicable to not just coding!)
With that said, Day 7 done ✅
Now what? I’m going to be making my way through the course, and plan to complete it! I won’t be updating daily but will share progress now and then.
(Still thinking about my next experiment!)
