- Many dogs with collars on them freely roam the streets and likely go back to their owners at the end of the day
- Balinese script really reminds me of the Burmese script
- The monkeys in Uluwatu Temple have learnt to steal items in return for food bribes, resulting in a vicious cycle that will likely not stop
- I find it fascinating that their holiest temple, Pura Besakih, is located on the slopes of an active volcano
- According to my driver, after the war, there have been many Russians and Ukranians making their way to Bali, temporarily or otherwise
