Need ideas? Go to a conference!
I attended GovTech Innovation Day 2025 today and left feeling energised.
Yes, I didn’t understand a lot of the tech/software/AI terms that were bandied about…but I was surrounded by so many new ideas that I could not help but be changed by some of them. There were also great demonstrations, wise insights, and inspiring examples aplenty.
I think this is the magic of conferences (that you voluntarily sign up for) — that you leave an expanded version of yourself. Granted, this motivation will not last forever, but you get a window of energy that you (meaning me) should maximise. As they say, make (bales and bales of) hay while the sun shines.
