Our default is boring.
The same routines. The same sources of information. The same TV shows. The same drink order.
Day upon day of this is deadening — we become stuck in the mud without even realising.
But life is too short to be spent like this. Life needs adventure! But if capital-A Adventure sounds scary, then why not a mini-adventure!
Listen to something you wouldn’t usually choose.
Watch something in a language you don’t understand (with or without subtitles!)
Eat something just based on a friend’s recommendation.
Learn about a country you know nothing about.
The list of things you can do is endless, but jolting yourself out of your calcified routine is really something.
So for the love of (insert entity) go on a mini-adventure!
