Don’t struggle with tabs — auto-close!
I often have phases where the Safari tabs on my phone/laptop just keep piling up till I’m wading through 50-60 of them. I end up here when I open a link that seem interesting but don’t have the urge to read it there and then, so I leave it open as a reminder to come back to it. Then another link comes my way and voila…58 tabs. It remains like this for a long time because a part of me feels like it will miss out while another part of me feels overwhelmed by the floor of tabs.
And then I discovered that you can set your Safari tabs to auto-close. After a week or a month of remaining open, these tab can closed without having to decide to do so each and every time. And if the tab is really that important, you can always go look at your history to find the link. Set-it-and-forget for the win.
