Desiderata

I was diving into the archives of a BearBlog that I like — [Little Poems Where Are You](tab: https://littlepoems.bearblog.dev/) — and was reminded of this gem I read a long time ago: “Desiderata” by Max Ehrmann

I guess it resonates with me because of its heart. Interestingly, not unlike Superman (2025).

For a taste, here are the closing lines:

And whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
