Black kites are everywhere!
I'm used to seeing pigeons, crows, mynahs, and gulls as the most populous species in cities. But coming to Bangalore, I realised that black kites are such a common sight. They are so well-established that I saw 15-16 kites thermalling together, stacked above and below each other. But it was wonderful to see raptors being so abundant, even if it is a rather ungainly one at that.
