5 ⭐️ books: Jan’26
These are the best books that I’ve finished this month. They were all published at different times and are from different genres, but they all struck a chord with me.
They are all either manga or graphic novels – I guess that’s the space that I’m in now. No complaints.
- The Moon is Following Us by Daniel Warren Johnson and Riley Rossmo
- Eight Billion Genies by Charles Soule and Ryan Browne
- A Journal of My Father by Jiro Taniguchi
- Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath
- The Boy Wonder by Juni Bá
- Kill or Be Killed Compendium by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips
- Batman and Robin: Year One by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee
- Hirayasumi Vol.1 by Keigo Shinzo
- Two-Face: Trial Separation by Christian Ward and Fabio Veras
P.S. Of these, my favourites are 1,2,4, and 5.
P.P.S. I’m making my way through Parting the Waters by Taylor Branch which is a biography (part of a trilogy) on MLK Jr. Seeing that it won a Pulitzer way back when, I hope to add it to my read list next month.
