3 things I know about living a better life
By now, you probably know that I’m a fan of lists which collect lessons on how to live a good life.
It’s one thing to consume but it’s another to reflect on my own life experiences to draw out lessons that could help someone else.
I’ve set myself a goal of collating 50 things I know about living a better life. This will be a good stretch for me.
For a start, here are 3 things that would appear on my list:
- I always relearn this lesson: 99% of the time my fears are worse in my mind than in reality.
- When I’m walking my dog, I just walk my dog — no phones, AirPods or other distractions. This helps me be alert and also be present in connecting with my furry friend.
- During conflicts, as hard as it can seem in the moment, always choose to be free rather than be right.
